Last month, money transfers amounting to $2.86 million were made from Azerbaijan to Georgia, APA's local bureau reports, citing the National Bank of Georgia.
Compared to the same period last year, a 15.72% decrease was recorded in the volume of money transfers.
In September, Azerbaijan's share of total money transfers received by Georgia amounted to 1%.
Meanwhile, $7.06 million was transferred from Georgia to Azerbaijan, which is 9.29% more year-on-year.
During the reporting month, Georgia received a total of $285.77 million in money transfers from abroad, while $36.9 million was sent from Georgia to foreign countries.
