Türkiye detains 90 people during operation against PKK

A joint operation involving the Turkish National Intelligence Directorate (MIT) and the police has been conducted against the PKK, a terrorist organization recognized by Türkiye, the EU, and the U.S., APA reports citing TRT.

The operation targeted the group’s ‘sleeping cells’ spread across 18 provinces, including Sanliurfa, aiming to dismantle the hidden structures of the organization.

It was noted that during the simultaneous operation, about 90 people were detained.
