Turkiye expects Iraq authorities to bring those, who attacked Mosul Consulate, to responsibility, according to Turkish National Defense Ministry, APA's correspondent in Istanbul reports.
It has been noted that the Iraqi side should not ignore taking any step for security of diplomatic representations.
"It has been known once again that who attacks civilian people and civilian targets with the attack on our Mosul Consulate. The terrorists, who carried out the attack, will also respond like other terrorists sooner or later," noted in the statement of Ministry.
Furthermore, Turkiye's readiness for cooperation with Iraq in the issues of fight against terrorism and border security has been stressed.
