Israel and Hamas are set to start indirect talks on the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal shortly, a Qatari official told Fox News, APA reports.
"Obviously, we are currently very busy preparing for the second phase of the negotiations, which we hope will start any day now," said Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, an adviser to the Qatari prime minister and spokesperson for the country’s Foreign Ministry.
He expressed hope that the talks would allow both sides to move forward with implementing the next stage of the agreement, which includes the reconstruction of Gaza.
