Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and Amir Khan Muttaqi, the foreign minister of the ruling Taliban regime in Afghanistan, held a telephone conversation, APA reports citing the Ariana News.
During the telephone conversation, Amir Khan Muttaqi offered his condolences to Çavuşoğlu regarding the earthquake in Turkiye.
"Muttaqi also said that if requested by Turkiye, our aid teams and emergency medical services are ready to help with rescue and search operations. He said the Afghan embassy in Ankara also sent a team to assist in the earthquake region," the MFA said.
