The passenger bus, which was going from Igdır to Ankara and whose driver has not been determined yet, crashed into the trees on the side of the road in the Bayırbag locality of the Erzurum-Erzincan highway and fell into a stockade, APA reports citing TRT Haber.
In the accident, 1 person died at the scene, 32 people were injured.
In addition to many ambulances, firefighters, Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate (AFAD) officers, police and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region.
Reaching the region, the teams took the injured to Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Mengucek Gazi Training and Research Hospital and other hospitals in the city.
