"During the negotiations, we stated that there is no difference between the PKK, the YPG and the PYD, that they are a terrorist organization, "said Ibrahim Kalin, the press secretary of the President of Turkey after a meeting in Ankara with the delegations of Sweden and Finland, APA's Istanbul bureau reports.

Turkey has put forward its demands from both sides and is waiting for a response, he said.

"We have made it very clear that the issue of these countries' NATO membership will not move forward if Turkey's concerns about security are not satisfied after a certain time," Kalin said.

No agreement was reached during the discussions and no roadmap for negotiations was agreed upon, the press secretary of the Turkish President noted.

Turkey calls on these countries to refrain from cooperation and support for terrorist organizations that threaten it, he noted.

It is not yet clear when the next meeting between the parties will take place, Ibrahim Kalin added.
