Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu says that Israel’s ongoing war against terror groups in the Gaza Strip is an existential battle against the forces of darkness, APA reports citing the Times of Israel.
“Even with the passage of 75 years, the war of independence hasn’t ended,” the prime minister tells the Knesset at the opening session of its winter session. The premier reaffirms that “our goal is victory over Hamas, toppling it from its rule.”
He expressed confidence that they will win: “We will win, because our existence here is at stake,” he says, “a war between forces of light and forces of darkness, between humanity and animalism."
