In the Temelli region of Ankara, a CH-47 heavy transport helicopter belonging to the Air Aviation Command crashed during a training flight, APA reports.
While the cause of the accident is unknown, the Ministry of National Defense stated in a statement, 'There is no adverse situation among our personnel. The cause of the accident will be determined as a result of a detailed investigation.'
In a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, it was said, "One of our CH-47 Heavy Transport Helicopters belonging to our Army Aviation Command has crashed due to a yet unknown reason in the Ankara/Temelli region where it was conducting a training flight. There is no adverse situation regarding our personnel. The cause of the crash will be determined following a detailed investigation to be conducted."
