Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Chinese Premier Li Qiang have agreed to "consolidate and deepen" dialogue between their countries, Meloni's office announced in a statement, APA reports citing Teletrader.
This dialogue comes at a time of growing speculation that Italy may reconsider its participation in a controversial investment deal with China, which is set to automatically renew in March 2024 unless Italy opts out by the end of this year.
