"We try to facilitate departure-arrival of Azerbaijani citizens," Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Saeed Khatibzadeh said at today's press conference while speaking on the Memorandum of Understanding, signed between Iran and Azerbaijan, APA's bureau in Tehran reports.
According to Spokesman, efforts for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Iran increased over the recent months, a meeting of joint economic commission of both countries was held and a document was signed: "Iran provided departure-arrival of Azerbaijani citizens in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic through Bilasuvar border checkpoint during the war. Provision of the process via a closer region was decided after the war. Necessary infrastructure will be prepared. a new transit road will be opened," Khatibzadeh brought to attention.
