Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Wednesday that Iran will respond strongly to any country that takes action in support of the Israel following Iran's recent retaliation against it, APA reports citing Al Mayadeen.
"We will respond strongly to any third party that enters in support of Israel. And if Israel decides to respond, our second response will be even harsher," Araghchi told reporters on Wednesday, adding that "anyone who provides their space to their enemies is considered suspicious by us."
The Iranian minister went on to praise the actions of the IRGC and their measured response to the violations of the Israel.
"Iran only exercised its right to self-defense; a right that exists for all countries under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter. Our actions were purely defensive and in response to the terrorist actions of Israel," Araghchi said.
