Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdulati will meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Ankara APA reports citing Anadolu Agency.
According to the information, it is expected to discuss all aspects of Egypt-Türkiye relations, the upcoming meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) planned for 2026, and plans for the upcoming period at the meeting.
In this regard, consultations will be held on regional issues such as Gaza, Syria, Libya, the Horn of Africa, and the Sahel.
The will to elevate bilateral relations to a higher level in 2025, which marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and Egypt, will be emphasized.
The meeting will highlight the importance of promoting investments within the target of reaching a trade volume of USD 15 billion between the two countries, and support will be given to joint efforts towards the reconstruction of Gaza, the Palestinian Authority, and a two-state solution.
