The US envoy to Saudi Arabia John Abizaid has slammed Houthi drone attacks on two Saudi oil factories, calling them 'unacceptable', APA reports citing Sputnik.
"The U.S. strongly condemns today’s drone attacks against oil facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais. These attacks against critical infrastructure endanger civilians, are unacceptable, and sooner or later will result in innocent lives being lost,” US envoy to Saudi Arabia stated.
Note that earlier this day, two Saudi Aramco factories were targeted by drones causing conflagration at both facilities. Yemen's Houthis claimed the responsibility for the attacks, vowing "broader range of attacks" in the future.
