One miner was killed with three others injured in a coal mine explosion in Myanmar's Sagaing region, according the Myanmar Police Force on Thursday, APA reports citing Xinhua.
The explosion took place in Kale town late Wednesday.
The methane explosion occurred at a coal mine site, operated by Htoo Han Thit Company, in Paluzawa village at 11:30 p.m. local time.
Three miners were seriously injured by the fatal blast and were brought to nearby Kale General Hospital for treatment, Than Zaw Htike, a township police official said.
