Clashes between government personnel and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo killed four people on Tuesday, with both sides trading blame over who started the fighting, APA reports, citing Al Arabiya.
State news agency SANA blamed the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) for “the death of one defense ministry member,” with at least two civilians killed and others injured.
The SDF said on X that the toll from the “artillery and rocket shelling carried out by factions affiliated with the Damascus government on the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and al-Ashrafiya has risen to one civilian killed and 17 injured.”
SANA earlier said that the SDF attack was “a new violation of the agreements signed with the Syrian government.”
