The US Central Command (CENTCOM) is conducting an internal investigation into the deaths of civilians at a wedding during recent strikes in Iran, US officials told Axios.
According to the information, CENTCOM is reviewing drone footage and targeting procedures.
US officials reportedly claim that the military targeted a communications tower in an area used for both civilian and military purposes.
Recall that five people were killed and 67 others injured in strikes carried out by US forces on the city of Sirik in Iran’s southern Hormozgan province.
