British Prime Minister Andy Burnham and French President Emmanuel Macron have discussed next steps towards producing long-range SCALP missiles in Ukraine, APA reports, citing the British Prime Minister's Office.
SCALP is the French version of Britain's Storm Shadow missile, with both systems using joint British-French technology.
According to the statement, the leaders agreed on the importance of continuing cooperation to protect their shared interests.
The two sides discussed the next steps towards establishing local assembly lines in Ukraine for long-range SCALP missiles incorporating British technology.
Macron and Burnham also discussed the outcomes of last week's meeting of the "coalition of the willing" in Kyiv.
