The achievements made in Azerbaijan-EU relations should not be considered sufficient, Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan Marijana Kujundžić said during her speech at a roundtable titled “Europe-Azerbaijan relations: assessing historical experience and directions for future cooperation” in Baku, APA reports.
“Of course, we cannot be satisfied with the achievements we have made. This year, we began negotiations on a new bilateral agreement, and the negotiations will continue at the end of this month. We have also discussed the ‘Partnership Priorities,’ and work on this document has been preliminarily completed. These two documents will create a modern and ambitious framework for our cooperation. This includes clean energy, trade, economic diversification, people-to-people contacts and many other areas,” the EU ambassador noted.
