US President Donald Trump has shared an article by his Special Envoy Steve Witkoff on the peace achieved between Azerbaijan and Armenia, APA reports.
The US President shared on his Truth Social account Witkoff’s article titled “How Trump turned a frozen conflict into a model for peace,” published in the Washington Examiner.
"Generations of diplomats dismissed decades of bitter conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia as insoluble.
That ended when President Donald Trump returned to office.
Thanks to the president’s bold, visionary leadership, today marks one year since the Joint Declaration of Peace was signed between these two nations, which ended more than 35 years of bloodshed — an accomplishment nothing short of remarkable," Witkoff stated in the article.
