Iranian FM: "US must come to its senses now"

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif congratulated the IRGC on the attack to the US airbase in Iraq and said it is high time for the US to come its senses now, APA reports citing IRNA.

“I congratulated our dear brothers in Islamic Revolution Guard Forces who in response to an aggressor base in the region, took a military measure against the terrorist act of the US in killing General Soleimani and his companions”, Zarif told reporters on Wednesday morning.

Note that Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) targeted the US airbase of Ain al-Assad in Anbar province in western Iraq early on Wednesday in response to the US killing of the commander of the IRGC's Quds Force, Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani.
