3 Iranians arrested for plotting to assassinate Israelis in Turkiye

Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office Terrorism and Organized Crime Bureau Israel on the threat of action against its citizens “Military or political espionage” investigation continues, APA reports citing Turkey Post.

Within the scope of the investigation, Iranian nationals were detained in the operations organized by the police department on 17 June 2022. Majid Nazire, Alireza Shaboedodkan, Seyedmahmoud Hosseini, Hassan Hashemkhani, Maryam Mohammadi had been caught.

One of the suspects, Maryam Mohammedi, who was transferred to the courthouse on June 29, was released with a ban on leaving the country, while it was decided to arrest the other 4 suspects.

In the continuation of the investigation, a second operation was carried out. organizer of the action Keyvan Majdzadehplanning to assassinate Jamal Ghadakchi and reconnaissance Iman Shoajaeifard was captured in the operation on 14 July.

During the operation, 3 guns with a diameter of 7.65 mm, 2 black lasers attached to the gun, 3 silencers and a large number of 7.65 diameter cartridges were seized and confiscated. After the completion of their procedures at the police station, 3 suspects were arrested yesterday, who were transferred to the Istanbul Palace of Justice in Caglayan.
