Sulim Yamadayev dies at hospital after assassination attempt in Dubai,

Dubaiâ€“APA. Sulim Yamadayev, former commander of Vostok Chechen battalion, died at hospital in Dubai after the assassination attempt. Russiaâ€™s consul in Dubai Sergei Krasnogor confirmed the fact, APA reports. He said he received confirmation from the Dubai police that Yamadayev was killed.
The Gulfnews said suspect killer was arrested. No details were reported on the arrest. The suspect reportedly is Russian, but his name was not publicized.
Echo Moskvi reported about the assassination attempt against former Vostok commander Sulim Yamadayev on Sunday, but said Yamadayev was wounded. Chechen Sulaiman Madov, 36, was killed in Dubai, Reuters reported. Dubai police named the man as Sulaiman Madov and said he had been shot dead in a parking lot on Saturday. "The murder of the Chechen seems to be an assassination because he was shot dead in the parking of the building where he was living," head of Dubai police, said in a statement. "It seems the 36-year-old victim, called Sulaiman Madov, had been under surveillance for some time," he added.
Russia accused Yamadayev in killing of two people and kidnapping. Sulim Yamadayevâ€™s brother Ruslan was killed in Moscow last September. Yamadayev said he didnâ€™t believe that his brother was killed on order of Chechen president Ramzan Kadirov.
