Israel and HAMAS agree to two-week cease-fire

Citing Palestinian sources, Ynet says fighting is to end within 72 hours and last up to two weeks. During the truce both sides will discuss withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, an end to the blockade and supervision of crossings. On the issue of the supervision mechanism it has been agreed that the international forces’ presence would be on the Palestinian side of the Philadelphi route.
Ekho Moskvy radio reports that Israel and HAMAS were coordinated on delivery of illegal arms to Gaza, cancellation of encirclement, opening of check points, withdrawal of Israel’s army from the site. According to unofficial reports that Israel demanded from HAMAS and other Palestinian groups to stop terrorist activity.
