Baku-APA. France’s National Museum of Natural History on Thursday announced the discovery of the skull of the oldest Asian modern man, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

An international researchers team found the skull in Pa Ling Tam site, in the northeast of Laos, southeast of Asia, where evidence on settlements of modern humans were rare, it said in a statement.

The fossil, that confirmed "the exceptional the presence of modern humans in Asia beyond 60,000 years," will be presented in Paris by the end of September at the National Museum of Natural History.
