APA reports that Jassim el Friej in his statement to the Syrian State Television confirmed that Syria’s Defense Minister General Daoud Rajha and Deputy Defense Minister Assef Shawkat were killed. He didn’t comment on wounded or killing of the Interior Minister in the blast.
According to previous statements, the Interior Minister was wounded during the terrorist act and died at the hospital. According to the other statement that Head of Syrian National Security Council Hisham Bekhtyar was also wounded in the blast.
Syrian Liberation Army and Liva al-Islam organization took responsibility for the terrorist. It is claimed that one of the bodyguards of Bashar al-Assad committed terrorist act.
