APA reports that the death penalty was executed in Lakan city of Gilan province on December 24, 2011. One of the executed is Mahammadrza Tall. His brother was also executed two weeks ago.
On December 25, one person was also hanged on a gibbet. The death penalty was executed in Karun prison. The executed is student of faculty of mechanics of Jondi Shapour University Hadi Amir. He knifed one person to death in 2008. Though the parents of the killed were addressed for Amir’s pardon, it was ineffective.
On person was sentenced to 74 lashes in Masjid-i-Suleiman city of Iran on December 24.
