Baku. Konul Jafarli – APA. Former Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki strictly criticized the policy pursued by Turkey regarding Syria, APA reports. Addressing the students of Tehran University Manouchehr Mottaki said Turkey’s officials should change their positions regarding Syria.
“The policy pursued for the recent three months is wrong, it should be reviewed, because this policy will not produce results. Turkey should understand that Bashar al-Assad’s regime will not fall,†he said.
He also strictly criticized Saudi Arabia.
“Saudi Arabia is interfering in the affairs of Arab states. We witnessed its bad results in Iraq. Now they support the Syrian opposition,†he said.
