Baku-APA. Thailand’s Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva Saturday rejected the "red-shirts" demand of dissolving the lower House of parliament within 30 days, Thai News Agency reported, APA reports quoting news.xinhuanet.com web-page.

Prior to the prime minister’s denial, the anti-government protesters or "red-shirts" asked Abhisit to respond by Saturday ( April 24) to their demand of dissolving the lower House of parliament within 30 days.

"Red-shirts" core leader Veera Musikapong said on Friday that a new round of talks with the government is possible if the prime minister agrees to three demands including dissolving the House within 30 days.

Abhisit said that the coalition government has also been listening to proposed solutions to the country’s ongoing political conflict from several other sections.

"Red-shirts" core leader Natthawut Saikua said earlier that if the premier denied the "red-shirts" demand, the "red-shirts" will keep fighting for democracy.

The "red-shirts" rally has been held from March 12 and they are viewing that, apart from the House dissolution, there is no other solution to the country’s ongoing political conflict.

However, the rise of Thais in "various-color shirts", who have opposed the early House dissolution, is increasingly growing.
