Al Qaeda leader in Yemen killed

Yemen – APA. Leader of Al Qaeda terrorist organization in Yemen Abdullah Al-Mehtar was killed in a shooting with the government forces. According to APA, governor of Yemen’s Shabwa province said that the government forces surrounded the militant’s house and he was killed as a result of exchange of fire. Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is from Yemen by origin. Many countries condemn Yemen in lack of combating terrorism. US, Britain and Spain decided to close their embassies in Yemen last week because fear of terrorism.
