Baku. Suleyman Farzaliyev – APA. Speaker of Iranian parliament Ali Larijani condemned the happenings of December 27 and disrespect for Ashura, APA reports quoting IRIBNEWS. Ali Larijani condemned the action of the opposition at the open meeting of the parliament and called it a movement against revolution and religion. Larijani said such actions were not connected with the presidential elections.
Ali Larijani mentioned that antirevolutionary slogans were chanted in the funeral of Ayatollah Montazeri in Qom last week, similar developments continued on December 27. He wanted the Supreme Court, Interior Ministry and Security Ministry to take serious measures about those who disrespected religion.
