Baku. Suleyman Farzaliyev – APA. Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani called kidnapping of Iranian nuclear scientist Shahram Amiri a “terrorist actâ€, APA reports quoting IRNA. Larijani said at the meeting of the parliament that the US and Saudi Arabia are responsible for it.
“Similar actions had been committed by America before, but they never admitted their guilt. We are observing it in the nuclear issue, too. They ignore the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons,†he said.
Larijani said making decisions contradicting laws in the management board of the International Atomic Energy Agency may result in the violation of the international psychological peace.
Shahram Amiri was kidnapped while performing Umrah in Saudi Arabia in July.
