Riyadh. The government of Saudi Arabia passed a decision to officially recognize Kosovo’s independence, APA reports quoting AFP. According to the statement issued by Foreign Ministry, taking into account the religious-cultural relations with Kosovo people, respecting their wish to be independent, the government of Saudi Arabia recognizes the Republic of Kosovo.
58 states have recognized Kosovo up to now. Saudi Arabia is the second Arab state to recognize Kosovo after the United Arab Emirates.
