Famous opera singer Demetra Mustafaoglu to give concert in Baku

Los Angeles. Husniyya Hasanova–APA. Well-known American opera singer Demetra Mustafaoglu will give a concert in Baku on June 27. Mrs. Mustafaoglu told APA US bureau that she will perform the two-part concert in Philharmonic. The concert will begins with Giacomo Puccini arias as this is the 150th year of his birth and his genius is being celebrated the world round. Then she will perform pieces from the Franz Lehar and Giusseppe Verdi operas and operettas. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” ("Evita") and “Music of the Night” (“Phantom of the Opera"), Lerner and Loewe’s “I Could Have Danced All Night” ("My Fair Lady") and other famous pieces will be performed in the second part of the concert. Demetra Mustafaoglu performs live Azerbaijan’s national anthem in the Republican Day events organized every year by the Azerbaijan’s Consulate General in Los Angeles.
