Opening ceremony of the Year of Azerbaijan in Germany to be held in Berlin, March 27

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova-APA. Opening ceremony of the Year of Azerbaijan in Germany will be held in Berlin on March 27. The concerts of Azerbaijan State Symphonic Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibayov and Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra named after Gara Garayev will be organized within the framework of the three-day opening ceremony. Director of Culture and Tourism Ministryâ€™s music sector Fereh Aliyeva told APA that works by Uzeyir Hajibayov, Gara Garayev, Soltan Hajibayov, Fikrat Amirov and other Azerbaijanis composers will be performed in the concerts. Aziza Mustafazade will give a concert on March 28, Alim Gasimov on March 29 and the concert of Salman Gambarov and Bakustik jazz group will be held on March 30. Fereh Aliyeva said that works by Azerbaijani artists would be exhibited in Berlin-Baku Gallery, â€œArshin mal alanâ€ by Uzeyir Hajibayov would be staged with the participation of Baku Marionette Theater.
Film festival will also be held within the framework of the Year of Azerbaijan in Germany as from March 26. Fereh Aliyeva said the festival would last for a week, seven feature films produced by Azerbaijani cinematographers would be demonstrated in the festival.
