Tajikistan Culture Days held in Gandja

An event was held in Gandja in the framework of Tajikistan Culture Days in Azerbaijan. Tajikistan’s Culture Minister Mirzoshohrukh Asrorov and 103-men delegation participated in the event.
APA’s western bureau reports that Tajik delegation visited Shah Abbas Mosque, Javad Khan sepulcher, Khan Bagi, remainders of the ancient fortress walls, Historical Ethnographic Museum, monument of Gandja’s emblem, Ganja gates and Nizami sepulcher.
Asrorov told journalists that Tajik people are familiar with Nizami Gandjavi’s creative activity.
“Almost everybody in Tajikistan knows Nizami Ganjavi. Nizami Gandjavi’s works are taught at schools. We know his Khamsa very well,” he said.
Tajikistan’s Culture Days in Gandja continued with concert in State Drama Theater named after Jafar Jabbarly. Tajik music, folklore, dances were performed there and Tajik singers sang modern songs.
Tajik delegation first visited Baku and Agsu region and will leave Gandja for Yevlakh. /APA/
