How much does it cost to organize a concert in Baku?
Those who want to hold a ceremony in Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Society named after Muslim Magomayev, which meets modern standards, have to pay at least AZN2500. The most expensive event in Philharmonic Society costs AZN5000. Director of the Philharmonic Society Murad Adigozalzade said that they set the rental themselves, since it is a commercial organization. The rental depends on the ceremony and funds that will be spent on it.
Rental in Green Theater, one of the popular places for organizing concerts, which has recently been reconstructed, starts from AZN8000. Art director of the theater Govhar Hasanzade did not publicize the rental, but APA’s correspondent could learn the rental for the concert hall. It is changed depending on the ceremony. Director of State Song Theater named after Rashid Behbudov said that rental starts from AZN350-400.
“We sign a contract with a relevant office or person, discuss the price and set rental along with Culture and Tourism Ministry. Each theater sets its rental itself. They sign a contract, determine funds that will be spent on the ceremony and reach an agreement,†he said.
Rental in Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater is AZN1000. Director of the theater Magbet Bunyatov said that the ceremony should be in line with the theater’s status.
Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater allows holding ceremonies conforming to the theater’s level and status. Culture and Truism Ministry sets the rental of the theater, it starts from AZN2500.
An event in Cultural Center named after Shahriyar costs AZN 450, director of the center Govhar Hasanzadeh told the APA, event is not held in the center at present. Disrepair of the center caused it. The center will be leased only after thorough repair.
Nizami and Azerbaijan cinemas examine essence of the event first of all. Then rental is defined on the funds used during the event.
Director of Tofig Bahramov Stadium Akif Ismayilov told the APA holding concerts there does not fit them.
“Rental is defined on the funds used during the event. I can not publicize prices as concerts are not organized here at present. Energy price increases day by day and our rental also rises in price. We rent stadium AZN 2500 for local football match. We base on the funds used during international matches and define price on agreement then,†he said.
The rental of Heydar Aliyev Palace which is being repaired thoroughly at present will be defined after reconstruction. The rental of the palace will differ after repairs. State events will be held in Heydar Aliyev Palace after thorough repair. /APA/
