US President Donald Trump will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping on October 30, White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt announced at a regular press briefing, APA reports.
According to her, Trump will travel to Malaysia on October 24, arriving there on the morning of October 26 local time. He will meet with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and attend a working dinner of ASEAN leaders. On October 27, Trump will travel to Tokyo, where he will meet with new Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on October 28.
On October 29, Trump will fly to Busan, where he will meet with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung and deliver a speech at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit. "On Thursday local time (October 30 – TASS note), the president will participate in a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi [Jinping] before returning to Washington," Leavitt said.
