United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken asserted on Wednesday that Washington will maintain its efforts to protect domestic businesses from malicious cyber actors, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The State Department's message comes shortly after the Treasury Department sanctioned a hacking group Genesis Market that worked as a global marketplace for the sale of stolen sensitive data.
The operation labeled "Operation Cookie Monster" was conducted through the international cooperation of 17 western law enforcement agencies, which yesterday seized one of the world's most important dark web marketplaces.
