The United States is reviewing a number of requests from Armenia to determine what more it can do to increase its assistance to and cooperation with Armenia. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken made such a statement at a hearing of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the US House of Representatives, APA reports citing news.am.
Also, Blinken recalled that in early April, he had a joint meeting with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, in Brussels. "These consultations were held in order to find out what else the US and the EU can do to assist Armenia. And they will press forward in a number of various domains," Blinken pledged.
Furthermore, the US Secretary of State expressed hope that Armenia and Azerbaijan will sign a peace treaty.
