The United States has proposed holding an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council over developments in Iran, APA reports, citing The Guardian.
The report said the meeting is planned for later this afternoon.
In addition, The Guardian wrote that the family of Erfan Soltani, who was reportedly sentenced to death in Iran several days ago, has been informed that his execution has been postponed.
It was also noted that earlier Donald Trump, President of the United States, said that executions were not planned in Iran and that he had heard this from reliable sources.
