Washington has expanded sanctions against Iran amid indirect negotiations on a nuclear deal, APA reports citing the US State Department.
"The State Department has imposed sanctions on three Iranian individuals and one Iranian entity associated with Iran's Defense Innovation and Research Organization (known as SPND), which was the direct successor to Iran's nuclear weapons program until 2004 and is also known as the "Amad Project," the department said in a statement.
It should be noted that the fourth round of talks between Iran and the US took place on Sunday.
