U.S. President Donald Trump plans to discuss issues related to Taiwan during his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea on October 30, APA reports.
“I will talk about Taiwan. I’m not going there, but I will bring up the topic,” said the U.S. President while answering questions from journalists.
Trump made this statement on the South Lawn of the White House before departing for his tour of Asia. As part of the trip, he will visit Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea.
“There are many issues we will discuss with Xi Jinping. At the same time, there are topics he wants to discuss with us as well. I think it will be a productive meeting,” Trump emphasized.
