U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed his willingness to help resolve the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, APA reports.
Trump made the remarks during a meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung in the city of Gongju.
“I’ve been fortunate to help solve many global problems. I didn’t even realize there were so many problems in the world. We resolved many of them — only one remains: Russia and Ukraine. I believe we can handle that too,” Trump said.
The meeting between Trump and the South Korean president took place as part of events organized under the Asia-Pacific Cooperation Organization framework.
