Classified documents about the war in Ukraine detailing secret US and NATO plans were posted this week on social media, The New York Times said Thursday, citing a senior official, APA reports.
According to the report, the Pentagon is investigating how the documents ended up on Telegram and Twitter and who could leak them to the platforms. Besides, the files seem to have been modified in specific parts from their original format.
Although there are still no answers about the leak, analysts quoted by the newspaper said the modifications could point to a disinformation effort on the part of Moscow.
