According to the latest information, the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has collected 247 votes, while the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has collected 210 votes, APA reports citing The New York Times.
US media projected Trump as having secured victories in 25 states, including Texas, Florida and Ohio as well as several other Republican-leaning states.
This is while Harris has secured victories in 16 states, including the big states of California, New York and Washington.
So far, Trump has won 247 electoral votes and Harris 210.
Note that Trump needs 270 votes to win the election.
