The Kremlin agrees with US President Donald Trump that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy—and not the Russian side—is obstructing a peace agreement on Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
“Here (regarding Trump’s remarks), one can agree. This is indeed the case. President Putin and the Russian side continue to maintain their openness,” the Kremlin spokesperson emphasized.
Peskov noted that the situation for Kyiv is worsening day by day and that the “corridor for decision-making is narrowing.”
“We said last year that it was time for the president to take responsibility and make an appropriate decision. So far, Kyiv has not done so,” he added.
