Washington. Husniyya Hasanova–APA. Several pro-Armenian congressmen lost the elections to US Congress – House of Representatives and Senate. Co-chairman of the Armenian working group Joe Knollenberg (Michigan), Senator Elisabeth Dole (North Carolina) and Senator John Sununu are among the unseated lawmakers. Two Armenian-origin Democrat candidate for House of Representatives – Karen Spayer and Anne Eshoo won the elections.
