Turkey Premier meets with U.S officials

Turkey Prime Minister Rajab Tayyip Erdogan, who visits the U.S to participate the meeting of Cultures Union, met with the leading persons of the Democrats party, APA reports. The premier met with Senator Edward Kennedy and former assistant of State Secretary Richard Holbrook and talked about the present situations of the relations between the two countries.
It should be noted that, House of Representatives took the control in Congress getting the majority of votes. At present Armenian lobby works on issues for recognition of so-called genocide. The observers valued Erdogan’s move as Ankara’s prophylactic measures. The premier will also meet with the representatives of Jewish lobby and State Secretary of the U.S Henry Kissinger. /APA/
