Baku – APA. Colombia’s military killed an important leftist guerrilla commander over the weekend during a major offensive launched under the country’s new president in the southern part of the country, APA reports quoting “The Sydney Morning Heraldâ€.
Domingo Biojo, the co-ordinator of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in the south, was among 27 guerrillas killed on Sunday in an air and ground attack on a rebel camp near the Ecuadorn border, said General Oscar Naranjo.
Naranjo, who is Colombia’s police chief, said Biojo was a 25-year veteran of the FARC.
